Steve Bills

After completing two sea tours, Steve Bills, from Virginia, spent nearly thirty years as a business government consultant, mostly serving the Navy. Afterwards, he spent fifteen years teaching college and high school English. He published a bibliographical study on Lillian Hellman’s plays in 1979 (Garland Press). His first short story, a baseball story, appeared in 2000. His non-fiction is more frequently accepted—see The English Journal, US Naval Institute History, Naval Engineers Journal. Steve is a husband, father of two teachers, grandfather of three, and a Navy veteran (BS USNA, MA Univ. of Maryland).
